About Us:
The Clear Creek County District Archives Reading Room holds materials relating to the history of the county and region. It includes manuscript collections, photographs, maps, news- papers, and reference and rare books.

Detailed information on our collections can be found on our ArchivesSpace page: Clear Creek Library Archives

Books are listed in our general library catalog www.clearcreeklibrary.org with location listed as Archives. Library staff is always able to help direct you to relevant documents for your research. You can call during buisness hours or leave an email at archives@cccld.org.

Additional Information:
Patrons cannot check out items from this branch, but instead must do all reading and research in the reading room during open hours. For researchers desiring to examine archival collec- tions, appointments are strongly encouraged so that material is ready when you arrive (some of the archival collections are not housed in the reading room).

The Library Archive focuses on non-governmental documents. The county runs an archive that includes official county, school, and mining district records. See their website for more information: Clear Creek County Archives
